Kathmandu: Daayitwa and Tilottama Municipality organized a “Udyam Yojana tatha Lagani Prastuti Karyakram” (Entrepreneurial Plan and Investment Presentation Event) as part of the Tilottama Deputy Mayor-Daayitwa Rural Women Enterprise Acceleration Program.

Susit Dhakal, Executive Director of Daayitwa, Ram Krishna Khad, Mayor of Tilottama Municipality, and Jageshwor Devi Chaudhary, Deputy Mayor of Tilottama Municipality, were present at the event.
Other event attendees included ward presidents, public representatives, and notable figures from academic, banking, financial, private, social, and enterprise sectors.

Nine outstanding women entrepreneurs from the Deputy Mayor-Daayitwa Rural Women Enterprise Acceleration Program presented their innovative business plans to potential investors. This transformative, year-long acceleration program is dedicated to nurturing four pivotal areas: Entrepreneurs, Enterprises, the Ecosystem, and the Economy. By bringing together all stakeholders within the enterprise ecosystem, the program fosters a robust support network, paving the way for the success of rural women entrepreneurs.

At the event, these inspiring women entrepreneurs were awarded enterprise challenge funds based on their business plans and investment pitches. This vital support accelerates their ability to advance their enterprises, driving economic growth and prosperity within their communities.
