Janmadev Jaisi receives “Rastriya  Sewa Award”

Kathmandu: Janmadev Jaisi, President of Working-journalist Association of Nepal (WOJAN), has been awarded the “Rastriya Sewa Award” in recognition of his significant contributions to the development and prosperity of the journalism sector. 

Jaisi was honored on the occasion of the 17th Republic Day by former Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Khil Raj Regmi, during a program held in the capital on Monday. 

On the occasion of the 17th Republic Day, more than a dozen distinguished individuals, including the Vice President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bala Adhikari, who have made contributions in various fields, were also honored.
