Kathmandu: The Cricket Association of Nepal has announced a 16-man squad for Nepal’s upcoming five-match T20 series against West Indies A. Nepal, who are preparing for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in June, will be hosting the West Indies cricket team from Sunday for the first time in history.

The Nepali side, coached by Monty Desai, has made two changes to the squad that played in the ACC Men’s T20 Premier Cup in Oman.

Unfortunately, Nepal failed to defend the trophy they won in 2023, and also did not qualify for the 2025 Asia Cup as the Rhinos lost to the United Arab Emirates by six wickets in the semi final.

Also, they missed out on the 2024 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup after losing their third-place playoff match against Hong Kong by four wickets.
