Banke: Schools in Nepalgunj Submetropolitan City are canceling classes due to heat waves.

The Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City has announced a holiday following the excessive heat in the city that crossed 42 degree Celsius.

Classes have been suspended for three days in entire schools in the sub-metropolitan city after the excessive heat and heat wave, Under Secretary of Education, Youths and Sports Division of the Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City, Gorkha Bahadur Thapa.

He said that the holiday will start on Wednesday and end on Friday. There is a nationwide public holiday on Tuesday on the occasion of the Republic Day. 

The students will appear at schools on June 2 taking a five-day-long break including the holidays of Republic Day and Saturday.
