Nepali, British climbers go missing during Everest expedition

Salleri: A Nepali and a British citizen have gone missing during the descent from Mt Everest expedition. 

Those missing are Sherpa guide Tenzi Sherpa (21), and British citizen Daniel Paul Peterson (40), according to Kali Bahadur Bhujel, director at the Department of Tourism.

The climbers have reportedly slipped from an altitude of 8,750 meters at the South Summit this morning. Both Sherpa and Peterson had successfully ascended Everest on the morning of May 21.  

A team of six trained mountain guides has been mobilized to search for the missing climbers. The Department has called for cooperation from all quarters in the search operation for the two.
