Dhanusha Court remands Kailash Sirohiya in custody for three days

Kathmandu: The Dhanusha District Court on Thursday remanded Kailash Sirohiya, chair of Kantipur Publications, to custody for three days.

On Wednesday, a team of Police from Kathmandu Valley Crime Division arrested Sirohoya from his office premises in Thapathali. The move from the Nepal Police came following an arrest warrant against Sirohiya on charge of misusing Nepali citizenship. 

Following the arrest, Sirohiya was then taken to Dhanusha, where a complaint was filed against him.
