Kathmandu: Discussion on the government’s policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year will be held in the House of Representatives on May 24.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire said that May 24 has been determined to discuss the government’s policies and programmes for the fiscal year 2024/25 and the Prime Minister would respond to the queries. 

Sharing that discussion would be held on the policies and programmes based on representatives of political parties, he urged the office-bearers of the concerned political parties to provide names of lawmakers putting forth their views for the same before the meeting. 

Similarly, those lawmakers willing to register amendment proposals on the policies and programmes should provide the information in the business section of the HoR from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on May 22. 

President Ramchandra Paudel presented the government’s policies and programmes for the coming fiscal year in the joint session of the Federal Parliament on May 14.
