20 injured after two vehicles collide in Dhading

Malekhu: At least 20 people were injured when two vehicles from opposite directions collided this morning near Phisling Bazaar along the Prithvi Highway. The health condition of five injured ones is critical, the Dhading District Traffic Police Office said. 

After the accident, the passenger bus (Bhe 1 Kha 4060) coming to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj plunged into the Trishuli River. 

An eyewitness said that the bus plunged onto the river as the bus driver tried to avoid the collision with the car (Bagmati Province 02-039 Cha 3720). The car was en route to Muglin from Kathmandu. 

Those five people with critical health conditions were traveling in the car, police confirmed. 

Police Inspector Rabindra Kumar Shrestha said that seriously injured people were rushed to Chitwan for treatment.
