Kathmandu: Students from various schools showcased their talents during the tenth Young Scientist Summit that concluded on Saturday. In the summit organized by Nepal Polymer Institute in collaboration with National Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), students of Uniglobe SS/College won the Gold Medal in Life Science Category winning the title for the project ‘Banana peel to plastic’ done by grade XI Science students Aahana Gurung and Kusum Rana.
The project has been selected for the next Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientist (APCYS) going to be held in 2026 in Thailand, according to Jaya Ram Ghimire, in-charge of Uniglobe Innovation and Research Center.
