Simkot: Vice Chairman of Sarkegad Rural Municipality, Chandra Singh Karki, has died in a road accident.

Karki, who had been receiving treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College after being severely injured in the jeep accident, passed away last night.

He was injured in the accident that occurred at Emale Mod of Bheriganga Municipality while traveling to Nepalgunj from Surkhet.

He was elected as the vice chair of the rural municipality from the CPN (Maoist Centre) in the 2022 local elections.
