Two youths killed in Jhapa road mishap

Jhapa: Two persons were killed in a road accident along the Postal Highway at Haldibari Rural Municipality-5 in Jhapa district on Thursday evening. 

Sub-Inspector of Nepal Police Purna Prasad Gautam said that a pick-up van hit a motorcycle, killing both the motorcyclist and pillion rider.

Sub-Inspector Gautam shared that 31-year-old Prem Prasain of Haldibari Rural Municipality-5 and pillion rider Dikesh Karki of Barahakshetra Municipality-10, who were critically injured in the mishap, were pronounced dead immediately after they were taken to the B and C Hospital in Birtamod, Jhapa.
