Two people go missing as tractor plunges in Seti River

Bajhang: Two people have gone missing and three others have sustained injuries after a tractor plunged into the Seti River in Bajhang today.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Kishor Joshi said the tractor driver and another person have been missing in the incident that occurred this morning. 

Sanjaya Budha, 20, a resident of Bheri Municipality-2, Jajarkot, was driving the tractor. The driver lost control and the vehicle plunged 50 meters into the river, Joshi said. 

The registration number of the tractor and the name of the next missing person are not known, according to Joshi. 

Those injured in the incident have been rescued and a search is ongoing for the missing persons, he added.
