Three die, 11 injured in jeep accident in Sindhuli

Kathmandu: Three people have died, and 11 others were injured in a jeep accident in Sindhuli on Thursday. 

The deceased have been identified as 42-year-old Prithvi Bhujel, 45-year-old Uday Bahadur Masrangi, and 35-year-old Pawan Masrangi, all residents of Nakajoli, Golanjor Rural Municipality-6 in Sindhuli, according to Sindhuli Police..

The victims succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at Sindhuli District Hospital.

The accident occurred at around 9:15 AM when the jeep, bearing the registration number Ba 20 Cha 8283, lost control and crashed near Chiyabari on the BP Highway, while heading from Golanjor to Sindhuli.

Among the injured, the condition of the jeep driver, 32-year-old Tikajang Rai (Hayu) from Golanjor-6, is critical. Police also informed that 22-year-old Uday Lungeli, 17-year-old Menuka Magar, and 37-year-old Himal Pariyar, all from Golanjor-6, have been referred to Dhulikhel Hospital in Kavre for further treatment.

Other injured individuals include 18-year-old Jina Shrestha, Pawan Masrangi, 47-year-old Dhanmaya Waiba, 24-year-old Lila Magar, 22-year-old Samina Magar, 19-year-old Bandana Koirala, 37-year-old Himal Pariyar, 56-year-old Rajan Prasad Koirala, and 78-year-old Dambar Kumari Karki from Kamalamai-5. They are currently receiving treatment at Sindhuli District Hospital.
