Six youths awarded in Pokhara

Six youths working in various fields have been awarded the ‘Youth Sustainability Promotion Award-2081’ on Thursday in Pokhara.
The award was presented to youth who have made significant contributions in their respective fields during the 10th Nepal Youth Convention organized by the Nepal Youth Network for Sustainable Development.
Adventurous mountaineer Purnima Shrestha, foreign affairs journalist Jagdishor Panday, youth expert Jagdish Air, inclusive educationalist Deepak P. Basyal, investigative journalist Suman Dhungana and social entrepreneurship Devi P. Devkota were awarded.
The awardees were presented the awards by Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives of Gandaki Province Padma GC Shrestha, Vice-Chairman of Gandaki Province Policy and Planning Commission Dr. Krishna Chandra Devkota, Nepal Youth Network for Sustainable Development Chairman Saurabh Khanal, and the founding chairman of the organization and coordinator of the award selection committee, Amrit Devkota.
