Sisneri-Dakshinkali road to remain closed

Makawanpur: Traffic has been banned along the Sisneri-Dakshinkali road section for 12 days from today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Laxmi Bhandari, informed that the vehicular movement has been closed till October 5 for blacktopping of the Dakshinkali-Chhaim section of the Sisneri-Dakshinkali section. 

The road stretch connects Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati province, to the federal capital Kathmandu. 

He urged the vehicles to use alternative routes through Kulekhani-Fakhel-Matatirtha road section, Kantilokpath road section, Tribhuvan Highway, and Narayangadh-Muglin road section.
