Bhaktapur: A person died and another sustained critical injuries in a road accident that occurred this morning in Madhyapurthimi Municipality-3, Gaththaghar. J
ite Dyula of Dyula settlement in Bhaktapur Municipality-5 was critically injured and his spouse Nabina died in the accident.
The accident took place when a truck heading towards Kathmandu hit a scooter where the Dyula couple was travelling to.
The injured is undergoing treatment at the Citizen Community Hospital.
Police have impounded the truck and arrested the driver Buddha Bahadur Ghalan of Makawanpurgadhi Rural Municipality-4.
