Two killed, one critically injured in car accident in Makwanpur

Kathmandu: Two persons died, while one was seriously injured as a car en route to Hetauda from Lalipur met with an accident at Thingan in Makwanpur district on Saturday.

The ill-fated car, according to police, plunged some 500 meters off the road along the Kanti Highway in Thingan Rural Municiaplity at 7 in the morning.

According to police, Bibek Sah, 17, of Maulapur Municipality-6, and Prem Bahadur Blon, 65, of Bakaiya Rural Municipality-12, in the district succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at Hetauda Hospital.

Sandeep Sah, 30, of Nijgadh Municipality-6 in Bara, was seriously injured in the accident.
