Humla witnesses third snowfall of season

Simkot: Snowfall has been occurring in the mountainous districts of Karnali Province including Humla since Friday night.

Simkot, the district headquarters of Humla, and Namkha Rural Municipality have witnessed the snowfall till this morning.

A local Gaugora Bohara, however, said farmers were elated witnessing snowfall for the third time in the district saying the blizzard was beneficial to the crops.

Locals are forced to stay inside the house as the snowfall has not stopped in the district.

The temperature has dropped to minus following the extreme change in weather.

Meanwhile, flights have been disrupted due to the weather.
