Kathmandu: The14th edition of the premier documentary film festival in Southasia is taking place from 21–24 November in Kathmandu. Film Southasia has completed official selection of 47 documentary films. The selected films include “#GoHomeGota: The Story Behind Sri Lanka’s Hashtagged Protest Movement” from Sri Lanka, “6-A AKASH GANGA” from India, “Bhashaili (Adrift)” from Pakistan, “Devi,” “No Monastery No Village,” and “No Winter Holidays” from Nepal among several others from several other countries.

Film Southasia (FSA) is a biennial festival set up in 1997 with the goal of popularizing the documentary that entertains, informs and changes lives. Thirteen editions of the festival have been held to date.
