Seven die in Baglung landslides, four rescued

Balewa (Baglung): The death toll from separate landslides in Baglung today has reached seven, while four people have been rescued.

Two individuals were killed when a landslide buried a house in Badigad Rural Municipality-9 this morning. Another landslide in Badigad Rural Municipality-10 resulted in the deaths of five people. The house of Joglal Budha in Aarupata was buried by the landslide at Badigad-10.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Chitrangat Baral, four people have been rescued alive from the debris, with two of them reported to be severely injured.
