Pakistan-Nepal friendship park inaugurated

Kathmandu: Embassy of Pakistan organized inauguration ceremony of “Pakistan-Nepal Friendship Park” at ward number eight of Budhanilkantha Municipality. Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Abrar H Hashmi was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The handover ceremony was attended by Suman Tamang, chair of ward number 8, Anita Lama, Deputy Mayor of Budhanilkantha Municipality among other officials.

Ambassador Hashmi appreciated the partnership with Budhanilkantha Municipality, Lions Club of Kathmandu and HRS Adventures Ltd for execution of Pakistan-Nepal Friendship Park in Kathmandu. He also extended deepest appreciation to the community workers, social workers, and all those who have supported this initiative.  He stated that this park stands as a symbol of the enduring friendship between the two nations and reflect the strong bonds that exist between the people of Pakistan and Nepal. The Ambassador stated that Nepal-Pakistan bilateral relations are built on a foundation of trust, and mutual respect and embedded in cultural exchanges, and collaborative efforts in various fields including education, health, environment and medicine.
