Educational conference at Dilashaini Rural Municipality concludes

The conference ended on Saturday by issuing a 43-point declaration. The declaration has incorporated the reform plans and activities to enhance the quality of education in the municipality.

Baitadi: The Dilashaini Rural Municipality in Baitadi district successfully organized a rural municipality-level education conference to explore the ideas for bringing quality reforms in education.   

The three-day conference ended on Saturday by issuing a 43-point declaration after intensive discussions on different thematic issues of the school sector reforms, chief of the education section in the rural municipality, Mahadev Bhatta said.

The 43-point declaration includes the issues of establishment of a scholarship fund in every school, waste management, moral education, school reform, green school, day meals and producing the best athletes, among others.

Besides discussions on school reform plans at the conference, a science and art exhibition was also done.  

Spokesperson of Dilashaini Rural Municipality Yagyaraj Bhatta said the conference drew a conclusion to make collective efforts to bring about quality reforms in the educational institutions. 

Chairman of Dilashaini Rural Municipality Santosh Prakash Joshi expressed his confidence that the conference will encourage the schools to advance the academic programmes based on their action plans. 

Organized at Gokuleshwor Agriculture and Livestock Science College, 56 schools from the rural municipality attended the conference.
